General English

Active Grammar: Allows for integrated skills practice through relevant listening and reading materials, enabling students to focus on skills such as listening/reading for gist and meaning, listening/reading for details and learning vocabulary by context. Provides the foundations of academic writing through weekly practices and tests.Active Speaking: Teaches naturally-spoken English through meaningful, context-based activities where students learn practical speaking skills such as describing opinions and ideas, using functional language and bridging communication gaps. Focuses on grammar and pronunciation accuracy as necessary for speaking fluency. Allows for integrated listening and speaking practice through the use of authentic audio materials such as film clips, podcasts, songs, TV shows and Youtube videos.

Active Writing: Teaches the foundations of academic essay writing and promotes grammar accuracy and proper vocabulary usage. Students will be prepared to write descriptive essays, opinion essays and research-based essays. Allows for integrated reading and writing practice using relevant topics and authentic reading materials such as magazine articles, news reports, and academic subject texts.

Active English Presentations: Topic-based lessons focusing on everyday communication skills for academia and professional environments such as public speaking skills & power speeches.

IELTS Exam Preparation

An IELTS Exam Preparation course for high-intermediate students who intend to write the IELTS exam presently.
Course Overview

  • Time: 1:40pm-3:30pm

ESL Intensive

The CES College-University Preparation course (CUPC) is an intensive course (four to twelve weeks) aimed at preparing students for participation at a college or university setting. This course is designed with the intention of providing students a general understanding of expectations at the tertiary level and is suitable for Intermediate and higher level students.The program focuses on: lecture participation and reading skills, study techniques, grammar and writing skills. Students will need to pass a final exam (completed any time after the course) in order to receive a certificate.

Registering in a designated CES ESL course in Toronto, followed by our one-month Intensive English preparatory exam program, is intended to provide international students the language skills to study academically in any Canadian institution.

Summer ESL Camp

Capital English Solutions’ offers a 2, 4, 6, and 8-week Summer ESL Camp Program in Canada that is designed to provide international students with English instruction as well as an enjoyable Canadian experience full of extracurricular events and activities throughout Toronto. Through total immersion in an English-speaking environment, combined with our diverse Canadian culture, we provide our students with the opportunity to become fluent in English. Our school invites students from all over the world; throughout South America, Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.The Summer camps provides 15 hours of ESL training a week, Monday to Friday, with essential speaking, grammar, reading, listening, and writing classes. Classes run from 9:00am to 12:00pm. An outdoor activity from 12:00pm to 1:00pm to keep the students mind refreshed and energized while learning popular Canadian outdoor activities. The lunch is from 1:00 to 2:00pm.
